HatersGonnaHate
Wood glue all the inside seams. Or fiberglass the inside seams. Or caulk the inside seams. That's really all I've done and have had no problems with air escaping from the box. HatersGonnaHate
Wood glue: Titebond II - http://www.homedepot.com/Paint-Adhesives-Tape-Adhesives-Wood-Glues/h_d1/N-5yc1vZar2xZ12kx/R-100144210/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051 Fiberglass is a more expensive route, but they've got 3M resin and mat at Home Depot or Lowes. And for caulk, just regular DAP caulk is fine - http://www.homedepot.com/Paint-Caulking-Sealants/h_d1/N-5yc1vZasef/R-100097524/h_d2/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051 Quote My name is AdamThis is my Civic Build.7" Samsung Tab 2Kenwood KDC-X896Clarion EQS746Sundown X-15DC 3.5k @2ohmHatersGonnaHate's 02 Civic UBLELD Bypass for Honda Civic/Accord/FitDon's Jeep Grand Cherokee Rebuild N8ball2013 - i think you'd stick your dick in a blender if it told you it was 40 wtih two kids your age. lol srp365 - If posting were picking up bitches, I'd be going home single tonight looks like tony montana sneezed in your car. HatersGonnaHate
No problem at all. Just use the wood glue to glue all the edges of the box together, and after it's all dried, if there's any bigger gaps from the "not so straight" cuts, then use caulk to seal it up. SCS_Audio
Liquid nail is what we use. Its $1.74 a tube at Lowes, pretty easy to apply and adds more strength than caulk. Do not Liquid Nail the faceplate on unless your sure you are not going to take it back off! I usually use 100% Silicone for the faceplate if you plan on building it, testing, and possibly modifying it in the future. n8ball2013
take some sawdust and wood glue and mix them togther. fill the cracks with that. You really shouldnt have many big gaps though if you have straight cuts. This method dries to the same color and consistency of the wood. i keep a small bucket on hand for just that reason. siucsaluki11
I caulk the seams inside the box. Nice thing about having a dad who works for a curtain wall company, i have yet to pay for a tube of caulk, lol.
