I have 2 sa15s and i'm designing a new box. It's a daily driver but i want it to be a very loud daily driver. i currently have a hifonics hfi1500 (pending upgrade) big 3 done, XS Power D925 on the way along with second skin coming. I'm probably going to go around 7.5-8 cubes after displacement and wondering which one will get louder to. If i go aeroport how big and long should i go. Any input is appreciated! Thanks

1 you posted same question 2 times.

2 cant tell you how long or round of a aero port without box dimensions and what you are tunning to

3 search im sure you can find threads talking about the pro's and con's of both types of port

an aeroport should be more efficient, you should aim for 12 in^2 per ft^3 as opposed to a slot port that requires a higher port area to volume ratio. If you can do an aeroport I would suggest doing that if you have the space, remember that you can do an external port more easily if you use aeroport

Sa's love small box's i would do around 6 cubes or smaller especially if you wanna upgrade power. For port i would go aero you can also test different lengths to mess around with tuning with ease...plus the majority of the loud people in the spl lanes run them for a reason

go the the12volt.com and type in the dimensions of your box to find your volume then go to psp-inc.com and click tools to find your port lengths and tuning that simple...

6 cubes 1 10in areo port 18inches long subs up on pass side ,port facing drivers side.

IF you do 6.5 cubes you can drop the port length to about 15 in long, external areo port.
