Scott Hughes
Been short on power, but spend most of the day adding a little more for now. Been operating with a single 220 amp alternator which is not enough. Today I took out the non working ac compressor and with a little fabrication the stock 100 amp is in its place. So there is another 100 amps which helps but still not enough. Once I get another h/o it will be just an easy drop in over the factory. Removing all the ac hoses: Looked pretty close to fitting: Ran into a problem where the heads of the bots to remove the compressor would run into that black ring on the outer edge of the pully. I dremeled out a section and just rotated the pully around to remove each of the 3 bolts. Interesting design there... Compressor finally removed: Some 1/4" aluminum and some spacers/washers to bolt the left side down. The right side fit right on. All hooked up and working great!
