I thought this would be an interesting thread to start.

What sub(s) and amp(s) did you use?

How long did they last (good to know lifespans for these toys)?

How much power?

How much did you spend on the particular setup?

Was it worth the $$?

I'm sure a hobby like this is way better than "paintballing". I've heard of people spending thousands of dollars each year into that sorta thing.

2 MA Audio HK15X2's ($450), 2 PA A3000db's ($600) Rated @4600 putting out a bit less than that. Lasted about 1 year before I blew 1 sub, blown 1 replaced, and other one is still running strong. Definatgely worth the money.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2 10" l5(200$),1 400 watt mono block(175$). Had them for about 2.5-3 years and beat on them hard daily and they have shown no sign of wear besides cosmetic, except once when it was cold and I left the windows open and didnt give them time to warm up properly so the coils warmed up and gave off a little smell.

It was worth the money, but I want more.
