budah93
I have sa15s the box is gonna be around 7-7.5 cuft box. Would tuning it at 40hz be too high for a daily driver? I want it to be hella loud!
Cashdollar2009
35Hz would be a real safe number for those drivers. I've done installs for friends on about 6 different SA-15"s. I like to tune lower. But 35Hz has always worked out well. It's also what Sundown recommends. budah93
I just want it loud and i dont listen to a lot of chopped or slowed music so tuning lower wouldn't help. i'm at 35hz right now but i'm building a new box

RooTxBeeR
How do you like the frequency range of where you are tuned at now? The only thing you will see from switching from 35hz to 40hz, is the lower end of how low you can play, will increase, and and same with the higher end of the frequency range. Edit: If you don't listen to edited music, 30hz will be a no go. ALPINE408
As long as you peak around 40hz when done I. Like that tunning can play down to 32hz just fine and get loud doing plus it helps when you play a wide range of music Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown? budah93
I want to feel the bass hard in my chest if that makes sense. I love feeling bass and I love flex. I do have chopped and slowed songs i just don't listen to them because my box doesn't pick them up well
Riley Evan Houser
Honestly, a lot of it is just about preferance. I tuned my first 2 SA15s to 34hz but know they are in a box tuned to 31-32hz which I like VERY much. What are your goals?
