EricM9104
OK! I just got this weird arse problem. Whenever I have my stereo receiver (Sherwood AD255R) set to play on both channels on the fader, my sub isn't as powerful, whenever I set the fader to full left or full right, the sub has more power. The sub is a KLH Audio E-12DB. Hooked up like this.... EricM9104
And for those who can't clearly see the writing on the sub amp, the top one is the input from the receiver, and the bottom row goes to my mids/highs. Toxiccasper
Um I would just say since you shift it all the way to the left it cuts off the power to the right speakers there fore leaving more power for the sub to take from the amp Im not sure though
IH8PunkRok
assuming the sub has two inputs (one red one white) the fader controls which one the sub gets the power from. now if u have it set in the middle the sub wont get the same amount of power from both sides and the amp will compensate to creat a "natural" sound. so im pretty sure if u pick one of them (red or white) put a splitter on it and put it into both inputs, itll get the same amount of voltage from both inputs constantly thereby making it the same "loudness" as if it was full left or right Quote -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build

EricM9104
Yeah... It's currently hooked up with speaker wire *see first post*. It works but if I listen carefully, the LPF on the sub amp doesn't work the way it should cause I can hear the vocals sneak in distorted from the sub... AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The stereo was actully louder/cleaner with only 2 speakers running at a time til I got a older receiver too power the other two. Then sold to a friend when I was unemployed four 15s ftl now..
