Retrofit projectors into halogen housing or don't use HIDs at all. Also 4300-6k for light will be the actual brightest. It will allow you to see and not put a strain on your eyeballs.

Idk why people would want anything other than a true white light.

30K? perhaps you mean 3000K which is very yellow or 30000K which is green

i have 5000K in mine on 55w ballasts and it is amazing the difference

ddm tuning

How do you like those 5k's? I also have 55w ballasts from DDM. I had 8k's then got pulled over with a warning so I bought 6k's. Last night I got pulled over for those. He only knew they were "conversions" because of the blue tint. Coolest cop ever btw.

best decision ive ever made

So there's no blue in the 5k's? I have a hint of blue in mine. Somewhat like a white LED flashlight.

I haven't heard much about HID lights but I have heard that its best to use it with a projector style housing to focus the beam rather than throw it up all over the road. That's just my 2 cents

Yup. Look at the difference in glare between hid projectors and hid bulbs in a halogen reflector housing

Man I never expected this thread to go to 3 pages. I'm gonna go with 6000k heads and fogs on 35w. Thanks guys for all the suggestions. This is gonna upset quite a few people but being 16 years old money is tight around here so I'm gonna go with DDM tuning. There site is so easy to use and easy to basically customize the set you want for your vechicle. Thanks guys for all the suggestions!

I'll be getting a set of 5k's most likely, maybe projectors in the long haul.
