Way better than the hifonics allen head ones...such a pain to have 3 different allens just to wire it. Ronco160 Posted September 21, 2012 Report Posted September 21, 2012 I'm really digging this amp reminds me of the 1606d i bought on ebay with the newer board, that sadly had a resistor broke off/ missing between the power caps.Has anyone used one or clamped one to c what it does for power? im thinking about buying it or the brz1700d Headunit in mustang deh-p7000bt (Max undistorted volume 59) Headunit in gti deh-6000ub (max undistored volume 59) Amp=saz-1000d (Gain set with dd-1) Subwoofer= psi platform 3 18" (dual 1ohm)

Here you guys go. I know its a super budget amp but was actually surprised when I first picked it up... definitely feels better than my old BRZ1200....inside you can see some components aren't straight etc so doesn't look super clean inside. 8ight Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Only thing I don't like in these amps is that all the caps are Yihcon. No issue with Yihcon but when you use capacitors from the same manufacturer throughout the amp it can color the sound since every capacitor "sounds" different it's good to mix it up. This is mainly a concern in full range amps but there's my nitpick. I'm gonna hate
