SPEER419 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 Hey, Well I have the MTX 9500 12''. LOVE IT. A kid at school heard it and wants to buy it. So i was thinkin... NEW SUB TIME? So IF i plan on selling it( Want somthin' louder and deeper.) What should I get?. There are so many choice. Looking like $400ish for this sub(s). Ideas welcome.. Love the MTX but Everyone in my town now has them. And i hate it . Need somthing diffrent!! My ideas where. 1. FI BL 18" loaded 2. Running at 2ohms If i get this what should i get the dual 2 or dual 1? And what is the Universal option? And what is Flatwind option? EricM9104 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Share Posted January 10, 2008 Get the dual 2 ohm option if you're gonna be running a single BL. Universal option allows you to re-cone it with a different ohm load coil than what it came with. Ex. If you got the dual 2 ohm with universal option, with a re-cone that is dual 1 ohm, you can do that.
