scoobywrx05
Nobody better to ask than some major bass heads. How do you all keep your CD players from skipping? Vehicle is a 97 F 150 and deck is an Alpine cda 117. Thanks for any info guys. Great website Steve :-)

dog24fret
Make sure the deck is secured in the rear. My e-150 did that until I reinforce the deck. Also check the Cd's for some of them may not be burned deep enough and the color. Ipod or thumb drive works also. Crandis16
yup, like everyone said. If your head unit is compatible with USB or AUX then I suggest using one of those. I have a CD player too but I NEVER use it. USB just reduces clutter of CDs and organizes everything better. scoobywrx05
Already have 1. Its what I use almost all the time but sometimes other people want to listen to a certain CD of theirs and if it has some good lows in it its all over. Just wondered if anybody had some good ideas on how to isolate the vibration to the deck.
