How to stop my CD player skipping?

pretty much any expect a cd, I use an sd card

Make sure the deck is secured in the rear. My e-150 did that until I reinforce the deck. Also check the Cd's for some of them may not be burned deep enough and the color. Ipod or thumb drive works also.

yup, like everyone said. If your head unit is compatible with USB or AUX then I suggest using one of those. I have a CD player too but I NEVER use it. USB just reduces clutter of CDs and organizes everything better.
