adam6604 Posted August 17, 2012 Report Share Posted August 17, 2012 hey guys, i was offered a new job running dozer/rock truck ( heavy duty equipment operator ) about 2-3hours away from home.. would be 3 weeks on, 1 week off shifts.. me and my girl are talking about it and it seems like 3 weeks is a lot of away time. but with zero experiance he's talking about paying me 30$/hr + overtime.. bringing home like 5000-6000$ a month. at 19 years old its hard to pass up.. i'm sure lots of you guys work away shifts, how do you guys manage with the girl at home?
