Jessica
I think your common walls is wrong, should be 1? edit Also, why did you click .5 for wood thickness? 97Jetta1637
i don't think that's a 3 common wall. it appears to be a 2 unless i'm mistaken. it's not touching the sides, only the bottom and the side opposite from the "missing" board are touching port. #teamihop Two 12 inch DC XL's Carbon Fiber Cap Stetsom 7k Shell of box / baffle built by me Port / sealing the box by John Hone Fuck midrange Alpine-9886 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/177428-97jettas-sql-trunk-wall-loudest-99-buick-century-custom-with-a-one-legged-owner/ price has no influence on how something sounds I told him to move the fucking port. they see me hoppin they stoppin they can't believe im so white and dirty It looks like you got so drunk, that someone came up and stole your leg. DustinBolt
you only have 1 common port wall, and it could be way easier to build if you made the port mor like a standard slot port enclosure. 1997 BMW 528i Fi ssd 12 6th order box Build Log- http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/144835-rebuild-in-the-bmw-6th-order-time-update-1113/
Joe X
You have a number of issues, use of 0.5 wood with that powerful sub may be a bad idea, keeping your external dims I would recommend this instead: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 32.15 Hz Vb = 2.9 ft^3 External Height = 20 in External Width = 23.75 in External Depth = 19.5 in Port Width = 2 3/8 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: 2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 23 3/4 x 19 1/2 Left & Right Sides = 18 x 17 3/4 Front & Back = 23 3/4 x 17 3/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Top to Bottom = 15 3/8 x 18 Extension = 12 x 18 Assembly guide (generic dimensions): But if you have space for a somewhat larger box, that would be best. goldeneye4564
I did 0.5 for space. Max dims are 20x19.3x19.5. My BTL box has 0.5 and I have had no problems at all. Yes I wasn't sure about the common walls. This is my first custom box design sorry for the errors. Of course I would have done a normal slot box but I cannot go bigger then those said. That is why the port exits the side to fit between two backseat brackets. I will change the common walls to 1 and see what happens I am at work right now. I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. Well obviously, but my max dims cannot fit a standard slot port enclosure. I RREEALLY ANGRY WIT U PHOTOBUCKET. HAD TO USE DROPBOX NOW HOLYYYYYY. Wanna ride bikes?
