I'm thinking a couple of 6" ports or a few 4" ports would be the way to get the port area in the desired amount. That's without me running ANY numbers, but I know for sure, 1 4" aero will not get it done. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.

cboos55 Posted August 25, 2012 Author Report Posted August 25, 2012 the way i planned it was to do a sleek custom box in my truck and port it directly into the cabin of my car using an aero port. seen and heard it done and loved it. i could go down to 3.5 ft^3 the sub i believe needs about 3.25. would a 6" still be too small for that size box? if not what length tube due i need to tune to 33hz? CleanSierra Posted August 25, 2012 Report Posted August 25, 2012 What dimensions do you have you're using on the box? As previously stated a slot port may be the best route for you. The slot port eats into your box volum however. You did mention that you have a pretty specific idea of what you want which I totally understand. SQ won't happen if the box doesn't have proper port per square foot. So you need to figure out where adjustments can be made to give that sub the proper amount of airspace and port area. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
