Help with tuning

I have 1 15" Fi SSD subwoofer. i plan on using a 4 ft^3 box with 1 4" flared precision port. the tuning calculator i used said i need 6" of port length for a tuning of 33 hz. i would like to know if 1 4" port is enough for this sub and also if the calculator is right on the 6" of length.

4" is waaaaaaaaaaay too narrow, not enough port area at all. As far as the calculator, I cannot say.

No, 1 4" port will not be nearly enough port area for that amount of airspace. I'm thinking a couple of 6" ports or a few 4" ports would be the way to get the port area in the desired amount. That's without me running ANY numbers, but I know for sure, 1 4" aero will not get it done.

its hard for me to get more ports in the box due to where it is located i could do a 6" port though would that be any better. im looking for sound quaity if anything

if 6" port isnt enough how big or should i say smaller the box should be in order to allow a 6" aero port to work and sound good

6" will be better, but it's still on the small side.

if you cant bend a circle port around inside the box, you can always do a slot port

the way i planned it was to do a sleek custom box in my truck and port it directly into the cabin of my car using an aero port. seen and heard it done and loved it. i could go down to 3.5 ft^3 the sub i believe needs about 3.25. would a 6" still be too small for that size box? if not what length tube due i need to tune to 33hz?

1 6" port will still not be enough port area. Roughly with the space you have, 3 4" ports at full length would be the right way to go.

What dimensions do you have you're using on the box? As previously stated a slot port may be the best route for you. The slot port eats into your box volum however. You did mention that you have a pretty specific idea of what you want which I totally understand. SQ won't happen if the box doesn't have proper port per square foot. So you need to figure out where adjustments can be made to give that sub the proper amount of airspace and port area.
