Dj Drake Posted August 29, 2012 Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 I have a 2002 nissan frontier, here's a picture of it "not mine, just a picture I got off google" And I have 2, 15'' kicker comps, Peak Power: 500 Watts RMS Power: 250 Watts Impedance: Single 4 Ohm I also have a 1500 watt monoblock amp. The specs of this amp is: Monoblock Phantom amplifier with MOSFET power supply Delivers 1500 Watts at 2 ohms; 700 Watts at 4 ohms Low-pass variable crossover; 18dB bass boost What I need to know is, do I have the best amp for these subs, and if i'm going to get a new box what kind of box do I need to look for and what size. ChevyBoy95 Posted August 29, 2012 Report Share Posted August 29, 2012 350rms at 4 ohms is what it does, but then again probably not. you are asking if this amp is the best for the subs, well, a 64dollar amp should be a red flag in the first place, not to mention "1500 watts." How about get a kicker dx500 to go with the kicker comps. http://www.sonicelec...-11DX500.1.html does perfect power for the rms of the comps, and should power them great, plus kicker amps are pretty stout.
