Tim Lam Posted September 21, 2012 Report Share Posted September 21, 2012 the SSD series is just a huge SQ series. if not a complete SQ series. i was considering getting a pair but on the FI website they even said the SSD's are recommended for a sealed box. i like getting loud so seal was clearly a no go for me. and i feel as though DC are higher quality products. if it was a FI BL than maybe but SSD, no thanks. Question wasn't answered if you've used both or either before. I will put your mind to rest when I throw a couple Fi SSDs in my Isobaric push/pull setup and get loud while murdering the lows. That SSD is perfectly fine in a ported box and will sound amazing in one that's built properly(as with any properly built box). Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
