ToNasty Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 No. You cant sell until.you.have 150 posts. Which meens no advertising. Basically.you.dont have those.kickers to.sell ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
DylanBunch Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 what kickers? lol 2006 Ford Explorer 2 Team AA/Sundown 15s 6th order Ct Sounds 7k 4 PRV Mr500 8s Rockford p1000-2 Team Subsonic Lows
Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 I would start out with the highs. Get a nice set.ofthe components for the front and some.nice.coax for the rear and amp them. Atleast i always start with the highs cause i like treble more than bass Amp only the rear coax's, not the front door speakers?
ToNasty Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Get a decent 4ch and amp the front and rear speakers. Theres no point in amping half the speakers ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 2, 2012 Author Report Posted September 2, 2012 Get a decent 4ch and amp the front and rear speakers. Theres no point in amping half the speakers LOL! Thats what i thought. Just making sure.
Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 So, I'm thinking of getting the Hertz ECX 165's for the front and rear, Rockford Fosgate pbr300x4, Sundown Audio D4 12" (one for now. I want to build a cubby and it will only be able to hold one sub), and the Crescendo BC2000D (In case I want to get two subs and then I can wire them to ohm for a shit ton of power : )). Does this setup sound pretty nice?
ToNasty Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Whats the ohm on the sub and is that amp 1ohm stable? ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Shane Patrick Lovell Posted September 3, 2012 Author Report Posted September 3, 2012 The sub is 4-ohm, and the amp is 4,2, and 1-ohm stable. At 4-ohms it only has 700rms (sub is rated at 700 so that's OK), but once I save up for two of the subs I can wire to 1-ohm and then the power bumps from 700 to over 2000!
412 CVX Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Just had to comment here. We've got the same last name. I haven't had the chance to read all through this thread, but i've skimmed it. You're going to want some beefed up electrical to support that BC2k and the 4 channel. A good box design is always key to a good sounding sub stage. Hit me up when you're ready for the box. i'd be glad to help. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. My temp system build log More box buildssome cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches! I'm with captain stupid.
