Im gonna run zero gauge wiring and was wondering if it was at all possible to keep the wiring inside or is gonna have to be run under my truck. ToNasty Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 I ran my 0/1 wire in my silverado (same as tahoe) through an existing hole to the right of the brake booster. And just ran it on tbe tranny hump all the eay back. 252chevyboyz Posted September 4, 2012 Report Share Posted September 4, 2012 I ran my 1/0 through the firewall on my Tahoe. There is a place beside the brake booster where the clutch assembly would go and you can use that to run the wire through. It has enough room to run 4 runs through it even though I'll only run 2 for now. Just make sure to use grommets which can be found at Napa Auto Parts. Here are some pics: Engine bay view. You can see the brake booster and which is connected to the master cylinder. The little circle next to that is where the clutch would have gone. Inside view. Right behind the brake pedal on the firewall.
