Tim Lam
so i was thinking after i get my new sub install done, im going to be upgrading my speaker amp. but this got me wondering, since im going to be running 6 speakers (2 tweets and 4 6.5") how would i arrange those wires on a 4 channel amp? Skullz
Pro audio? Car audio? You can run the tweets on the front and the 6.5's on the rear in parallel down to 2 ohms. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2

Tim Lam
lol no lie im a fucking newb when it comes to door speakers. but i was thinking something in the neighborhood of a crescendo 1100.4(or sundown/audioque) and some audioque 6.5 and tweets(or crescendo) will can you explain to me the process of how i would use a cross over if i have 2 tweets on the dash, 2 6.5s on the driver/passenger doors and 2 6.5"s on the rear dash. ahh interesting skullz. so for example the crescendo 1100.4 does 2x600w@4ohm Bridged so i would just connect all 4 6.5s onto the rear chanells bridged?(also for that, would all the 6.5s have to be 4 or 8 ohms?) and just have the tweets getting the front channels? Tim Lam
I assume you are talking supertweets do as skullz recommends. yes haha. so for that example stated above, the crescendo 1100.4 does 2x600 @ 4ohm bridged. so since id be using the rear channels to the 6.5s they'd be getting 150rms each. but to wire all 4 to 4ohms, what would each individual 6.5's impedance need to be? Skullz
Fronts will have one tweeter per channel and run two 6.5's in parallel per channel rear. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
Tim Lam
Fronts will have one tweeter per channel and run two 6.5's in parallel per channel rear. lol i guess i'm not phrasing my question correctly. so when i go to the crescendo website and order 4 pairs of PWX6s (6.5" speakers) should i pick them as 4ohm or 8 ohm speakers. and which ever impedance, i connect all 4 positives in 1 speaker terminal and all the negatives in the negative speaker terminal into the bridge configuration. or will i have to do some wiring between the actual speakers themselves?
