Do subs need to warm up?

i have lil problem well atleast i think its a problem my 12" rockford fosgate p1 gets warm right in the middle if i touch it, is it ok or bad ?

im running it in my room with a yamaha power amp and my mixer nor the amp is showing clip maybe i set the freq wrong on my amp ?

I call bullshit. Its perfectly normal for woofers to get "warm" after playing for a while. HOT is another story.
