Well you said you were looking at buying a cap and most places (best buy, circuit city) sell them for around $100

Here is a link to a Kinetik HC600 on eBay, $99 with free shipping, order this before anything.

the part you dont know about caps and your systems is real simple. with the running and on a good day your lights will see 14 volt and will be bright, when bass hits or anything that is a draw on the system that voltage will drop. your lights will show this even with a little drop, at night you can notice. the load that keeps the voltage up is the alternator. so even with more battery it will dim but it will help the load, but a cap will just hurt things. it becomes another part of the system to have to charge back up.

IMO, buy the HC600, get an FI SSD, and pick up an amp like the hifonics shown earlier. then you should have a pretty damn nice system without dropping a ton of money.

My System:

Pioneer AVH-P3200BT

4-Dayton 7 inch reference series (front doors)

8-Onkyo 3/4 inch tweeters (dash)

1-Sundown Audio 100.4D (mids/highs)

2-18" BTL's (for now)

Crescendo 3kwp (for sale)

Complete rebuild coming soon...
