rcmobile Posted January 14, 2008 Report Share Posted January 14, 2008 the part you dont know about caps and your systems is real simple. with the running and on a good day your lights will see 14 volt and will be bright, when bass hits or anything that is a draw on the system that voltage will drop. your lights will show this even with a little drop, at night you can notice. the load that keeps the voltage up is the alternator. so even with more battery it will dim but it will help the load, but a cap will just hurt things. it becomes another part of the system to have to charge back up.
