As soon as my refund check comes in there will be a ton more updates. Things I still need to do. - Create a proper mounting area for my amps - Install DC Integra (94-00) map light - Possibly re-wrap headliner/visors (thoughts/opinions?) - Sound deadning - Paint I may be missing something for some reason, but I got the main points. Joshex Posted January 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted January 27, 2013 Got a little sound proofing done. I didn't get pics of everything but I will take it when more is done. So far I have gotten both my door panels with mattress foam, put polyfill around my speakers in the door with the floor padding inside the door to hold it in. Floor padding under the carpet, back seats and rear deck. I cut out a sheet of plastic from the pack the mattress foam came in and taped it down under the floor padding on the rear deck. I used the aluminium backing tape to do this. Also put mattress foam on my back panels. I still need to do some more proofing and will update as I get more done soon. This has be my first attempt at ever sounding proofing and hearing a sound proofed car. I am more then pleased with my results and it has improved the acoustics of my car and the inside ride quality by a drastic amount. I'm buying a a Rockford T1500-1bd, doing a big 3 upgrade, getting a HO alternator, then getting my car painted as well.
