Think I'll be a-ok on an Sundown SAE1200 and SAX125.4? I'll be running my stock alternator unless it seems it can't keep up. I know how to do it, but this'll be my first time actually upgrading a vehicles electrical so this should be a cool learning experience. Ordering it tonight! I was just going to replace it, but if I can put it in the trunk and also use the stock battery, the extra battery bank would be nice! *New vehicle and system coming soon.*
revoracing247 Posted September 14, 2012 Report Posted September 14, 2012 i would say pair it. i think it'd be better to have 1 battery only for the system and 1 for the system and the car's electrical rather than having the one xs battery for both. plus just from an electrical engineering stand point, having 2 batt's in parallel you could draw more current. but i haven't done it so not much experience to back myself up. just my opinion ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
