kalaps Posted September 14, 2012 Author Report Posted September 14, 2012 Info/ 05 f150 oem alt. I did neg to chassis and chassis to motor. And positive to alt Voltage before was 14.0 after 14.9

I assume you mean bat neg to chassis etc...... Bat light probably nothing to worry about but as a side note to your big 3, you should go from alternator to case to frame also. When possible, your big 3 should always suppliment and not supplant the OEM wiring. In other words, add to the stock stuff, don't replace it.
