Berries53 Posted September 15, 2012 Report Posted September 15, 2012 So I'm planning on doing a drop kit for my 2001 ford f150. I was thinking about going with a bell tech 4/6 kit. Has any body have any experience with these kits? And how would it ride after I put it on? Just wondering what yalls thoughts are about this kind of kit.

Pioneerchuck Posted September 22, 2012 Report Posted September 22, 2012 Ive got a 99 F150 with a 4/2 drop and the ride is a little smoother in the ass end. You have a little more sway up front in the steering, I would recommend if you havent done any steering upgrades to do the simple ones for now it will help. It definitely handles a lot better on turning and highway driving though once the steering issues are worked out.

Pioneerchuck Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 yeah if you do anything more than a 4" drop in the rear, you gotta notch it. Otherwise it will be bad news.
