Nate Futuristic Posted September 17, 2012 Report Posted September 17, 2012 downloaded a box calculator app on my galaxy nexus (failed) torres calculator- after messing with it a few times trying to adjust the port and over all displacement i cant ever get the tuning right im also worried a little but about imp rise so i want any tips to help lower it but not making the box "peaky" (adding 45s? resin? bolts in the box? depth of the woofer? anything that may help) (this is a daily system so i understand i cant really fight it to much without making the box peaky or rebuilding box after box) i also need a reputable box designer to come up with something "unique" and stylish common chamber? separate chamber? (what are the negatives/gains) im almost certain im going to go with slot over aero ports (with 45s and round port edges to help air flowzzzz) i want it to hit the lows more than anything (decaf is pretty much all i listen to) subs are 2 vvx 12s (dual 2s wired to .5 ohm and yes i know the risks lol) 12 vvx specs taken from skaraudio.com Re : 3.8 ohms Fms : 22.1 Hz Res : 101.8 ohms (holy fuck?)
