MrSkippyJ Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 Im doing the big 3 but im getting the kit fir that reason. I could never crimp large gauge wire. Always sucked ass at it with the right tool, it's pretty easy to crimp. but that tool isn't very cheap and most people won't use it often enough to purchase one. gt58 Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 the only reason is extra $ and youll be left with extra wire, or have way too much slack that looks sloppy just my .02
Guest Posted September 24, 2012 Report Posted September 24, 2012 the only reason is extra $ and youll be left with extra wire, or have way too much slack that looks sloppy just my .02 ...you measure out how much you need, you tell the big 3 vendor, and he cuts and sizes everything for you. no extra wire/sloppiness. you need to think before you post sometimes
MrClean636 Posted September 25, 2012 Report Posted September 25, 2012 Your going to get some cool light dimming with 80+ amps of current draw. That amp has two 70amp fuses. your not going to draw near that but say 3/4 of that draw is 105amps. Not terrible dimming but it will be there. The "big 3" will definitely help though!
