OrionStang Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 Not sure about your year, but mine usually charges at 13.7-13.9, 13.4 or so if its really hot. However, I never dropped below 12.8 with my 7.5k and 200.4 full tilt. So, you might not charge as high, but the alt will still help with voltage drop. SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

And if you still have that 4500 by the middle of October, I'll be taking it, gettin another big lump of cash in about a week. Aaron Todessa Posted September 27, 2012 Report Posted September 27, 2012 it means you car is an electrical mess to play with you alternator is run through you instrument panel computer, and send a signal to you PCM, and that sends the alt the message to charge or not. im in a night mare of a alternator problem with a cadilla sts. it gets no charge lights and shit like mad. no audio, just factory bose garbage.
