revoracing247 Posted February 25, 2013 Author Report Posted February 25, 2013 man i guess i haven't done anything on this in a long time. here's a couple pics from my 24Hz t-line build. through more research on t-lines that i've done over the past couple months i've found out that my t-line that i built is actually more tuned to about 23hz lol anyways i came back here to post up my newest design i've came up with for a JL 8w3v2-D4 it's a folded horn of sorts and expands 50% and is tuned to 34.5Hz here's the SPL response \ and here's the drawings i've come up with. designing/modeling this thing was a B%&^ anyways, let me know what you guys think! might start construction later this week on it. but we'll see ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
revoracing247 Posted March 8, 2013 Author Report Posted March 8, 2013 alright so i got the design i liked for it and i also found out it'd work great for a sa8 v2 so might be getting one soon to test it out! got the wood cut out and also did my first kerfs today! this is the test one i did and i didn't cut deep enough so that's why it looks like crap and the long piece and essentially how it'll be once it's in the box. ^ friends helping = the best lol ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~

revoracing247 Posted April 17, 2013 Author Report Posted April 17, 2013 how does it sound and does it get loud? what does it do on the tl? well with the JL in it, it was just as loud as a SA15" in a custom ported box tuned to 32hz and both were on the same amp getting 300w in the same car ect. and for an 8" it does awesome. i haven't gotten any numbers on it at all on the TL so sorry. this box indoors sounds really good also. and just to make sure you meant the folded horn with the kerfs right? ~ If it was easy, everybody would be doing it ~
