revoracing247
hey guys so sorry i haven't updated in a while, couldn't get my phone to load pics to my computer for like half a week and then i've been in crunch mode for the last week or so.i hate finals week! so honestly idk if ill have some updates for a little bit. schedule right now for me: wake up classes homework/work on project/study eat some food somewhere (if i have money) more homework/work on projects/study get home at like 11:30 at night, more homework and eat sleep and repeat but i finally got my phone to upload photo's so here's what i did a bit ago!! (and where my truck sits right now) here's the box in the truck and without oh i guess herre's a better photo finally pulled all the 0Ga out now the body to ground that came with the stock wiring broke off so here's the pic of my temp fix just so i could get home a couple days ago. time to fix that!! (it's the black wire near the radiator that you can see is bolted to the frame) my old pos terminal. was gonna try to clean it up and put it on neg but id didn't work out IIDKKK i might have had a bad ground stripped the wires so i could get clean new copper and also cleaned the ends better cause i didn't have any tapping bolts or what not i decided to bolt it to the body where my ABS break modulator bracket does. though i had to bend the bracket so i could get down through the paint to solid metal all ground down now ready for the bolt! now with new terminals and a new fatty body to ground! btw the reason i didn't do the big three yet is cause i don't have money for ring terminals or fuse blocks right now and well the length of wire from the bat pos to fuse block that i made when i put the kit in was perfect length for this and already had the terminals on them. but should hopefully be finishing it up soon! all my equipment coming out alright took out all my unnecessary wires and stuff from running the memphis before. and now got new wires for my rcas and remote and then the bass knob and box leds vip ties! looks like i need to do some wiring! STEvil
If you get the chance you might want to adjust the bolt-terminals slightly so they're not so close and maybe more secure.. if they ever loosen up or turn while you're tightening them externally they could touch internally and produce a short. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
