MECHMAN
My mk3 golf does exactly that - if it's a nice warm day I might get 14.1V max and most of the time it stays about 13.2V I've only got an 800W monoblock and a 60W x 4 and I can drop down to 11.8V in no time!! My amps refuse to die though even down at 10.5V when the engines off! We have new billet VW units in stock and shipping! 240 or 320 amp, internally regulated, 14.9v cold set point. Shoot me an e-mail for more details! [email protected] Quote 1-888-MECHMAN www.Mechman.com [email protected]

MECHMAN
this same kind of phenomena happens in my jeep as well. i have a 1994 jeep cherokee. when cold it charges at about 14.3 and once it warms up it goes to about 13.5. althought it could be that its just old. HA! We can hook you up with an adjustable external voltage regulator for your OEM unit for just $150. Set it to 15.3v and rock out!! Of course, we have some pretty burly 6 phase high output alternators for your jeep if you want more amperage to go with your higher voltage!! I might put it in next week and when i do, you know i will take pics and post a video. Right now, my stock alt charges @ 13.1-13.4v and that is weak. It is 180a stock so i will give it credit for that Anyway, this one should charge @ 15.2 cold and 14.9 hot. It benched @ 278a. 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong!
