SteveND
was sitting at a light when this kid in his little lowered car pulled up next to me, I could faintly hear boom boom. Now I'm 55 medically retired so I don't look the best, but here I sit in the Mustang Cobra, so I motion to the kid to roll his window down to immediatley get "whats the matter pops", I said nothing I cranked up my system, and said "wanna race for pinks" not all us older people have our heads stuck in the mud and still like to have fun. the way my box fits in the back, it hits right at the bottom of the rear window seal so it's got this small compressed area in which the music comes out with a vengeance. here's a shot with the door open, running a kicker 800.2 (that's a sony) and an old sanyo 50 x 4 with another 4 x 50 amp running my tweeters under the back seat messy pic, not the amps I was running, just testing and tuning he just sat there looking dumbfounded as I smoked the tires thru the intersection.. you can't even see the audio amps from the back and most of the time I run louvers she's my baby 74,000 miles on her... SteveND
new system is going to have 4 gold sound dvc's, in a quad box sealed @ 2ohm, the pioneers are gone and I've replace them with plates. I've got a Kicker 800.2 it's supposed to be 2ohm stable but I don't think it's going to be enough power, maybe it's time for a pair of bricks. Jessica
Reminds me of one time years ago my wife and i were out cruising. I owned an 88 escort and we pulled up next to a vette. I revved the engine and he looked over and smiled. The light turned green, i went left and he shot off like a rocket, until he realized i wasnt even on the same road as him. lol Rest in peace, walled 87 accord build log 03' Corolla build with AA Mayhem inside.
