If I was you I would look into a first system of around 1,000w to 1,500w.. Seems like money is a issue and when you get over the 1500w range you are looking to have to beef up your electrical system (alternators & multiple batteries, wire, act) on your car. First thing i would say is to save your money and get what you want. Dont cheap out cause you cant afford it. Just wait until you can it will save you in the long run. Thats cool. My penis is bigger than your penis I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
Tim Lam Posted October 10, 2012 Report Posted October 10, 2012 oh... lol well. i suggest a small set up to begin with. well in terms of what people run around here, but you'll still be feeling it in ur chest. suggestions for your first set up with stock electrical(this would refer to the power of your alternator, size and capactity of your battery(ies) and wiring) would be ~1000watts rms. and you'll have no worries. some great 1000 RMS amps are: Sundown SAX1200D, Alpine MRX-M110, Audioque 1200d . and im sure you can ask around for more some great sub(s): 2 Sundown SA's, Audioque hdc2.5's, Alpine Type R's you get a box ~4.5 cubes net and tuning around 32-35 Hz and you'll be hearing some loud bass for your set up
