severancej
Ok so I currently have a rockford fosgate p400-4 running my infinity reference 3 way coax 6x9 in stock front door and polk db coax 5 1/4 in the rear doors. The doors are dynamatted, they sound good but my problem is the mid and high isn't loud enough. Now I was thinking, i could paralell each set too 2 ohm and free up 2 channel, maybe build a pillars and door pods and run idk maybe skar vxi65.. Or I could sell all coax and buy idk what, components that could take bridged power or..two sets of components on all 4 channels? Or maybe move the polk audios up front into some pods? How bout some ideas our input guys? 98' dodge ram 140A alt Big 3 XS D2700 JVC kd-r310 Rockford T500-1BDCP 2 Sundown E12 Ported 4cubes 35hz Rockford P400-4 2 Infinity reference 3way 6x9 2 Polk DB 5 1/4 2x layer dynamat all doors
ToNasty
Take the speakers out and run components or get some good mids like neos.or.pwx's and some horn tweeters. It will be plenty loud.if.not to loud then. ***Super Sellers List***http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/25829-super-sellers-buyers
Swordlordboy1234
If you want musical and loud check out the Polk MM's, they are freaking awesome. Just give them clean power. I'm giving them over 30 rms over rated with comps front and co ax rear. Let me just say, if you want loud and still want music? These are the way to go. T600-4 puts out 128 watts rms x 4 @ 4 ohms. The polks take 125 rms clean.... Are 2.7 ohms, and are 94 db sensitivity 1w/1m.... Wanna talk about loud clean and musical? Fuck pro audio. If I ever cover a door in speakers it will be with these. Pro audio are louder yes. But I can play anything on them.
