KenC210
Looking good. If possible, try adding a third brace from the sub mounting baffle to the back of the box. It doesn't have to be a single piece like the ones you already have installed. It can be two short 2x4s that tie into the existing braces. They'll just have to be inline with each other. Either or, it's looking badass. Hit me up when you ready to start serving some demos. Thanks for the complements... Yeah i didn't even think about the brace from top to bottom, even though i should have seeing how much these dc's weight. But yeah once this thing is built for sure on the the demos... would like to get a demo of that beast of a setup you got also sometime. KenC210
I have my box built completely now just deciding how i want to cover it up. A few update pics here The box all glued, screwed, and filled... A shot of the bracing... went with onebadmonte's advice and got the brace down the center also... re-calculated for the additional bracing and it didn't do much to tuning or volume. Port shot... Clean edge's... Kids Cadi Power Wheel Build2007 Ford Escape Build2012 Toyota Corolla Build 2013 Toyota Tundra

KenC210
In between coats i got the wood filler sanded down on the screw holes on the box, (well my daughter did most the sanding). 3yrs old today and still able to put in work. I still had to touch it up but we got it done. After sanding we had to clean up. She said the leave blower got heavy so i finished... But we had some fun with it... KenC210
So just a small update of the work i got done.... Started with an amp rack and it is going attach to the box... Here you see that there is a little air space on the bottom to help let them breath a little... This is a shot of it from the top... A shot of it put into the truck... Here you see around the box it is going to be attached to the box surrounding the amps. I am going to have it covered and cut out a portion of it so you could see the AQ of all the amps. KenC210
Alright so i decided it was time for me to get these to start playing... So i did just that got this thing playing, i know i still have a lot of work to get done. So on to the pics. Since i was going to start getting the subs playing i went ahead and opened the other box today and that contained the DC XL. To my surprise i seen a lanyard in there with a sticker. Was pretty excited about that as i was going to be buying a lanyard. Well i started to get all the wiring done for the subs. Using these to wire the subs to the correct ohm i need. I had them just laying around so i decided to use them. Got everything wired up, yes i know they need to get cleaned up. Also the subs in Just a little disappointment. I had the holes cut out good but i still seemed to have some of the material lift up and peel away. Got my second battery installed and my be getting another one Got them charging before i check everything out. KenC210
So i will try to get vids up tomorrow. But first i must say this seems a lot louder than my previous setup. They are more vicious and do really get down. Although my overall satisfaction was down a little as i thought i would achieve a hair trick... No big deal there by any means as i do get some movement of hair and a good shirt trick. I am pretty sure it has a lot to do with the box and may play around with different tracks. Aside from hair tricks i am very happen with the setup.
