Did you remount your head light assembly to allow room for the "shelf" at the bottom edge of the headlight? How did that work out aiming them up ? seems like sinking in the bottom of the light would make the beam point way down... well lemme try to answer this..lol......on a 2nd Gen Phaze 1 Cav..88/89/90....(which is what mine is)The headlights and grille....are straight on a 2nd Gen Phaze 2 Cav..91/92/93/94 he headlights and grille ,have a pitche to them... when i made my grille...the shape i did...(from the hood to the bumper...I knew Id be using phaze 2 headlights...the phaze 2 headlights bolt to the cars body.. in the same place as the phaze 1 header panel...(at the front of each fender)so the outsides of the headlights are bolted to stock locations....but the middles are attached to nothing yet...the headlights are sitting on top of the original bumper cover...and bolted to the fenders... that "shelf underneith the headlight is the bumper And You posted pics of the shelf being mudded over, but what did you build the structure of the recess out of ? Did you just fab up some sort of wood guide as a template to lay glass over? or did I somehow miss the pic where you fabbed them up... there........the bumper and the headlights are bolted in securly....where they go.....I filled in the big gaps with Newspaper(just to make a dam) then Duraglassed right to the taped up headlight....... Looks good man. As far as it looking more like a camaro, I can see it, although the camaro has a bit more pointy taper to the middle , but then again, you don't want it looking like you just grafted a camaro front end on the car... , but now, there is a big space of flat smoothness between the lights... you gonna do more to it or is that it... Maybe a big chrome shocker emblem , kinda like a mercedes benz round logo to mount in the middle, ( not the hood ornament , kinda like a trunk badge ) but the chrome ring holding the "shocker" manufacturer badge. hehehe... I don't think it would really go over well when you are out and about cruising.... further down the road........the headlights will actually mount,,,to the nose of the car...(once the whole front clip is 1 piece)so eventually there will be mounts glassed into the nose....when i get thet far...ill simply stuff a light into each hole....cuz itll fit snug..........only one way...... temporarily secure it......and build the mounts.... therell have to be some random shocker emblems "somewhere" tho...
