Eric B
Which level? Level 4...I had my brothers lil 12 in my car and on the lows it flexed my car nicely and sounded good, but with a single DC Level 4 a 145 daily is out of the question a single Level 5 with 2k-3k RMS should be able to get around there but remember its all install Quote 2007 Chevy HHR LT UNDER CONSTRUCTION 1st Place Loud N Low 2010 MWSPL Finals 3rd Place Xtreme 3 2010 MWSPL Finals
redbaron80
I have heard Both the Level 4 Dc's and the MT/BTL Totally different woofers and should not be compared really. If you get a second MT and at LEAST 4000-6000 watts for the pair, that would be the loudest way to go. You can get TWO Level 4 15's for the price of ONE MT. But the MT will handle more power and get louder. For a value and IF cost as a concern, you cannot go wrong with the DC's and you only need 1/2 as much power to run those subs. IF you just want to stomp down the block, and be the LOUDEST , get the 2nd MT 15. Christian Quote Official Scores at the Dash. and YES. Andrew
I was looking at alot of budget amps for the 2 MT's and I've narrowed it down to either the hifonics (2) bxi2006d or (2) PA a3000db's. Any input on these amps and subs for my application? Also, does anyone know if a stetsom 2k6d at 1.4 would be enough power to push the 2 mt's? should it be wired to a lower impedance? .35? Any input fellas? I'm still not set on the MT so someone throw out some more ideas lol Quote New project in the works
REVOK1NER
I have actually had a conversation with Rusty about MT's versus LVL 4's and in the end your going to need a lot more power for the MTs and the MTs will put up a number around 2 DBs higher. This conversation was about 18s thought not 15s. But I would choose the LVL 4s. Andrew
Both the lvl4's and the hdc315's come out to right at the same price almost lol. Both have amazing customer service from W.O.M. Idk what is going to be the deciding factor now lmao Quote New project in the works
