pimpnFosgates Posted October 21, 2012 Report Posted October 21, 2012 Don't put the sub in the trunk unless its to transport the sub from place to place. Facing it at the deck lid will be a MOST disagreeable choice. totally put a lvl 4 15 in a trunk and looked like the trunk lid was trying to jump off the car Lucky Durango Sony hu 4 croosfire 6.5mids crossfire 600.1 mono amp American bass 1280.4 mids and highs amp aq hdc3 12 2.4 cube net box, tuned to 34 and 14.4 inches of port per cube

boxyhobo Posted October 25, 2012 Author Report Posted October 25, 2012 Teaser of what I have so far. I'm hoping to finish it up tonight or tomorrow.
CleanSierra Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 A level 4 18" on a single baffle?!? Take some good pictures of it now, because this is the last time you'll see it in tact like that! You really should have double layered the baffle. Box looks good otherwise. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
ZachG Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 Haha cleansierra is right, double baffle and counter sink if you still can 1998 Pontiac grand prix gtp supercharged2 12" Obsidain Audio V.1 on a 2011 zx1500.1 at 2 ohms. 20ft of Knuconceptz CCA 0 Guage. 2nd Battery is a Shurken BT-120. Box is 3.5cu tuned at 31.8hz sealed off from the trunk. 14sqft of Dynamat on the Rear deck top & bottom. Soon to be more for doors/roof. Gets low & loud Did a 140.5 Sealed at Battle of the boom in June 2013 dropping to 12.7v (need a alt mines going bad)
boxyhobo Posted October 26, 2012 Author Report Posted October 26, 2012 for the flex of the box or the weight of the sub pushing down?
CleanSierra Posted October 26, 2012 Report Posted October 26, 2012 For both, I don't think I'd ever just single baffle an 18" sub. Especially one with that much motor force. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
