Well ive been looking at getting a bigger amp than my hifonics Brz 1200. I have a couple amps in mind but one brand I don't know about Is db drive. I've googled them and seen reviews from other car audio sites and all was good buy I want to hear SMD's members opinions. Thanks

ill second what alpine said.. i had a db drive 2000.1.. could produce power with nearly any amp in the 2000 watt rms range but i absolutely hated that amp.. got hot as shit no matter what.. even had one go up in flames on me for no reason.. stay away

This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP. Put the work in and then maybe get the respect when it has been earned

Im loving my crescendo compared to my opti, full tilt for 2-3 songs and it is still ice cold and puts out good power

That's one of the brands I had in mind. They have the BC2000 for 379 but I'm not sure if It's just on sale now or if it's the standard price. I don't think my sub could take 2k watts as a daily sub but I could always dd1 or o-scope then adjust using a dmm. Nothing wrong with having a little headroom for later on
