suckerfreebass Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 once i added the stock grounds alongside the 0guage grounds both bolted together at both grounds it worked fine

suckerfreebass Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 thats what im sayin im confused i even sanded all the spots where i grounded but it only worked once i put stock grounds back on an when i tried using just stock ground from engine it didnt work along side 0 gauge i had to put both back on

How many stock wires are at your battery, both pos and neg wires? Like someone said earlier it could because you starter is split somewhere. Your fuse box under the hood was not grounded or the pos was not connected because you replaced the factory factory wires instead of adding to it. suckerfreebass Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 there was 3 wires from positive terminal an 1 split from alternator to starter an 2 ground wires i can try to post pics
suckerfreebass Posted October 21, 2012 Author Report Posted October 21, 2012 so now i have 4 grounds 2 really with 2 wires to each location an 4 positive wires an i have to take picture of fuse box but since i didnt upgrade wiring to it would it really need upgraded ground i never heard of that before

So somewhere there is a split possibly with the grounds at the engine fuse box. If you reconnected the grounds and it worked you should be ok. suckerfreebass Posted October 22, 2012 Author Report Posted October 22, 2012 no i found the problem in replacing the grounds on the battery i didnt run the ground on the motor to the same bolt as stock the first time but the second time i did an it worked so i just removed the stock grounds an its all workin fine
