Ended match at 38-10, idk how many captures/defends, got the final kill in the first half by just launching a grenade over a building. I still have had zero luck with getting a open NAT type again?????... Ever since we went to this high speed business class, (gaurenteed speeds) our NAT type is at BEST moderate.... and i dunno what to do?????... I try to do that a few minutes before I get online to play each time. I always hit the "reset" button on the modem when ever i know ill be gaming. Would that be the same? Id like to get into the modem and check my settings. Im wired in, STRAIGHT to the modem, not router. Which i though was the best connection avalible. When i did this on my old set up, i would see a NAT TYPE 1 and OPEN, on all games. Thats when i could invite you all, and had no issues. NOW, with this new "better" set up, i see NAT TYPE 2, and STRICT/MODERATE. Never open,...... I got the how to to enter my modem, but, when i enter the name and password, it just reloads the page?????... Ill try and call... AGAIN..... blows... EDIT - i just found on DSLREPORTS.com that this is a big issue. No one that has switched to business class, hasnt ran into this...... SHIT..... maybe ill have em remove it??.... Again,... BLOWS This was brought to my attention on like the 7th call. They can offer me a static IP bundle. For another 20 a month..... "You will either have to beg Comcast support to put your SMC gateway into true bridge mode (and a Comcast tech has to do it), or beg Comcast support to allow you to use a standard cable modem (possibly even the EMTA modem that is used for your phone service) with your old router. Neither of those are considered standard options, so you really will need to beg (or threaten if you are still within your 30 day trial period) to get it done. Lbox88 Posted January 6, 2013 Report Posted January 6, 2013 I'd fucking tell them your going to look into other companies and call back to cancel if they don't get their shit fixed. You are paying for a premium unlimited service and getting a terrible connection. Even on mine with the surfboard only having one Ethernet, I run cable to modem, Ethernet from modem to router, and Ethernet from router to PS3. And I still get NAT type open. UBL | Build Log
