Depends on your alt. I have a 270 amp alt and I only have 80 ah of batteries for about that much power

I have a mechman 270 amp alt and a D3400 under the hood. I'm highballing the 4100 it could be more like 3600 but idk what the sundown SAZ 2500 puts out at 15 volts. So 4100 is the number I'm using. Snow drifter what are your voltages kind of drop are you seeing

Down to like 12.6 at idle, but I maintain 14.5v above 1200 rpm.

I'm running a crescendo 3500 at .5. So I'd think you should be fine as is. You could put a smaller battery in the back near the amp if you want, but I don't think you need anything huge ;)

So you are running an saz2500 at 2 ohm nominal with a 270 amp alt and 3400 under the hood? I can guarantee you, that will be plenty of electrical then. If nothing is done incorrectly and your wiring is good, you should have zero voltage drop or close to it.
