TRON
Both of the stores in Winnipeg used to sell components but apparently the demand for them was low and the prices were to high. Slinky
Few years ago I ran an entire power acoustik setup and it wasnt too bad. I walled 4 12" mofos old style off of 2 PA amps (dont remember the model but it was the best they had at the time) and it banged pretty good. I also used their components, a PA bass processor, and other things i dont remember. I can tell you that its nowhere near the quality of my current setup (all rockford) but for the price its not bad. Kingcuong5o4
Ive researched and found that the older mofo were pretty good compared to the newer ones. Why is that?

Kingcuong5o4
3 inch coil? my box has two 10 inch mofos and i think its 1 cubic ft per camber tuned to 40 hz. honestly it sounds just about as loud as my single 12 l7 in a 3 cubic ft box that was tuned to 35. but the mofo sounded more clean. conceptM
PA had some very good woofers in the '90s. They got really loud. Only downside was they were also very fragile... but nobody cared as they were so cheap. The 12 inch had a nice yellow cone (aramide fibres). Ahh memories Didin't touch the amps by any means. . . don't know if anything changed, but we sure are 15 years later now Woofer: 12" Phase Linear Aliante Limited Mids & highs: DLS Ultimate 5 1/4" Amp: Audison VRX 6.420 HU: Sony CDX-C90R
