I'm replacing my undersized single RE10 box with a small double RE10 ported box. Here are the build pics. I didn't pic up the other woofer yet. This keps m from rushing the box and doing a crappy job. The plan is to vinyl the box, unless it sounds bad.

in this pic i have the port out 1/4" to flush with the vinyl side panel. I will have side panels so the seam is pretty

the port is actually a 4" dia. that box sounds ok. i think i want to double my power. the little 400watt amp isn't enough.

Nice job man looks clean. Are those just the base RE 10's?

Nice how do those sound? I know they are pretty inexpensive, I always thought about going with a 4 12 set up and using those to start out.

they sound ok. I got them for $50 a woofer here locally. They are moving some air out that port which i was suprised about, since they volume doesn't seem to match the air moving. But they are in the compact ported box, not the optimal. it is an upgrade from a single 10 sealed.

i am waiting on sime vinyl samples then i will go into finish mode, i'll post pics. Uusually my stuff looks better than it sounds.

got some more done. the box will be vinyl so , in my eyes, it has to be paint quality or it wll show through the vinyl. So some filler and some sanding on all the seams. a little primer to check them and ready for vinyl. I still have end caps to make so thats why the ends aren't filled and thats why the port sticks out a 1/4"
