Mojo Man Miller
i am running a pioneer 3300bt and i have alot of static. its on every source and gets louder with the volume. i can hear it when the music is paused and in quiet parts of songs. it was doing it before i put an amp on my mids and highs and now it still does it with the amp. might it be a ground problem on the head unit? please help me, this static is annoying lolthanks. http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/My car: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160564-2000-camaro-2-mojo-12s-videos-up/#entry2314594

IKnowImLost224
Exactly what N8ball said. I Had the same issue with a pioneer before and you just had to ground the shield of the RCAs. It's a inconvenience but its manageable
Mojo Man Miller
would that fix the problem? http://www.memphiscaraudio.com/My car: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/160564-2000-camaro-2-mojo-12s-videos-up/#entry2314594

Tarball
well i grounded my rca outputs on my radio and it didnt help at all.... Where did you ground? I had this same issue on an F90bt and it was stupid loud. grounded RCAs to the chassis of the deck and its crystal clear. If I ground the RCAs at the amp instead of the deck, the issue did not go away.
