Quite possibly the deepest hitting 30 dollar sub ever

simple 12 inch 30 dollar walmart DUAL subwoofer

running off a 400 watt DUAL amplifier. the gain knob less than half

music through line in coming from my computer (no bass enhancers)

bass boost on amp is off

crossover is off... crossover is built into the box with a built in midrange and tweeter

the box has a 3 inch wide 9 inches deep port front facing

the computers volume and volume from the song (in windows media player also no bass enhancers) is at normal 100% volume

When I play the song "Bassotronics The Bass Will Destroy You"

I get window flex in my house!

and the amplifier runs off a 2 amp 12 volt DC adapter

a slight bit of port noise but not enough to worry about at these low frequencies (hits hard and deep at 12-16hz)

I have actually used a pringles can with the bottom cut out of it as my port tube believe it or not!

I'm guessing my box is ported at 25-31hz because frequencies higher than that drop off tremendously.

the real kick is at 14hz making my windows subsonic flex like crazy

and i'm not even pushing the sub at 1/3rd its max capacity because the power supply only puts out 2 amp at 12 volts.

I do get a huge amount of subwoofer flex aswell it moves half an inch to an inch and a half

also I put a CD over the port and it got over 2 inches of flex it almost shattered and was hard to hold onto! it flew out of my hand and almost sliced my leg once!

and all of this costed less than 100 dollars!

the box someone gave to me for free. basically they just gave it away to me which was really nice

I took out one of the tweeters (there was two plus a midrange)

I then inserted the perfectly fitting 3 inch wide 9 inch deep pringles can into it (with the bottom cut out)

and it really hits low!!

it vibrates the circuit breaker box in my house (all the way upstairs and in a different room)

and it really hits hard and deep!!

It even hits really low and deep off a home made amplifier I made (one transistor a HUGE heatsink one resistor and one capacitor make up all the parts in it) that runs off of only 5 volts 800mA

it still flexes the sub pretty good for only 5 volts!!! and really simple amplifier design!

I get some extreme subwoofer flex as well on the song "Bassotronics - Bass I Love You"

and a few other songs like bassnectar basshead really hit hard too

less than 100 dollars and the windows in my house are flexing at 14hz!!! I'm surprised!

I wonder what it would be like if I had a 200 dollar subwoofer in this box (possibly one that's broken in nicely)

And i'm only 15 years old so don't hate on me for being cheap! I don't even have my own car yet so..

I'm sure this is possibly one of the lowest hitting single 12" subs of the world that cost under 100 dollars for the entire setup!

but soon I will get a video camera and post a video of my 12" dual in action!

and if the camera is good enough I'll show the window flex and vibrations and it will be incredible to see what my weird 12" dual and the box it's in can do!

But I have a box for it now and I covered the old port with a block of wood and glued it down and put in my new pringles can port where a 3" tweeter used to be

right now the glue is drying so I can't wait till tomorrow to try it out again! (originally i covered the old port with cardboard and packaging tape then today I put the wood block over it instead and glued it down good)

I have some other videos of it but they do not have the new port I put in my box! the pringles can port! and I didn't have a good amplifier) so the excursion was low

but now once I get a new camera I can take a video of the sub in the box with the New pringles can port!
