SlamminBeats Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 WTH i undid the 4 screws around the speaker, and the speaker is still stuck in there any help?
REVOofRustler Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 Are there clips holding it in? The speakers in my Dakota are clipped in, and also have a kind of sticky gasket that was holding them in there pretty good too. If you would feel comfortable doing it, you could just try to lightly pry them up. 2002 Dodge Dakota 4.7 club cab - Sold 2004 Audi S4 Avant - Fi and Crescendo - Stock Bose System - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147725-2002-dodge-dakota-end-of-the-road/?hl=%202002%20%20dakota 136.4 Sealed @ 29hz 137.0 Drivers window open @ 26hz

SlamminBeats Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Posted November 12, 2012 yea it was just super sticky, always scary prying on things in someone elses car. problem solved though
SlamminBeats Posted November 15, 2012 Author Report Posted November 15, 2012 last question my buddy bought coaxials, and the fronts have tweets should we leave em or cut them out??
Lbox88 Posted November 15, 2012 Report Posted November 15, 2012 If you leave them you wil have retarded highs. Could leave them there for now and just unplug them. EDIT: are the tweets mounted in a separate sail panel? on my 'nox they are so it would be easy to pop them on and off if you wanted to try them either on or off. UBL | Build Log
