ThreehundredC Posted April 9, 2013 Author Report Posted April 9, 2013 ok I NEED A PORT TUNER PLEASE i got my sheet of MDF new blades everything ready just cant get the port right Kicker l715(2011) on kicker 750.1 (2011) my box design is not square so it gets confusing.. its 18 tall in the front 13,5 tall in the back with the top slanted downward , width is 37.5 at the top base/bottom is 31.5 then it has a 3.5 inch step up and 3.5 over on each side im building that box in the sketchup^ can i get some port tuning help please..

Joe X Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 You are going to have bad airflow around the box if you do that, when you do a box that fits like a glove you better do it port sub(s) front sealed off.

Joe X Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Your box is kind of tall right now but there's good space on the sides to give sound waves a return path, if you take all width and all height then you loose output unless you are firing forward. Or you can use 12s firing backwards.

ThreehundredC Posted April 9, 2013 Author Report Posted April 9, 2013 i dont want to fire this one forward if i get a different sub i will do that because my seats stay down but i went out and took a pic of my set up heres with the seats up you have almost a foot of floor space just so you can see what im tryna explain it just barley is to tall as this is my "show car" its not very pretty
