Try to wire your subs in all the same configuration or they'll behave differently (ie all series'd coils or all parallel'd coils)

And by the way... how do you know the amp is clipping? Do you have an oscilloscope?

My standard response to clipping is turning down the gain...

Just so you know, the gain your amp clips at with 4 ohms is TOTALLY different to the gain it clips at with 2 ohms. So if you keep changing configuration and don't touch your gain of course it's going to clip.....

I want a box tunned to 28~ hertz. The dementions of the box are 35"w X 27"h X 48"d. Taking into consideration I will be doubling 3/4" MDF for 1.5" It should leave me 20cu/ft to play with Interior Volume

WooHoo! I finally got it all out!

Man, when I built that thing, I built it to NEVER come out, lol. It Was Fuckin SOLID for only 1 layer of 3/4" MDF.
