Sanitarium built a pretty successful 4th order with AQ 18s

His blowthru was ported.

Then didn't he do a rebuild with a 4th?

Ami do you know why aq uses such stiff spiders? It seems like it doesn't have much benefit since

1. It requires a larger box.

2. Restricts applications.

3. Has a high fs which can really mess up a frequency response if you tune below the fs.

And 4 it seems like it puts more stress on the triple joint

I get that it eventually will loosen up and a stiff suspension can increase power handling but I just think that the average user would much prefer a looser suspension.

Simple the AQ HDC3 and 4s are built for the SPL competition ideally, and for SPL applications you want a stiff suspension.

And point 3, is incorrect, fs doesn't affect tuning. I have spoken with many WORLD record holders that will tell you fs doesn't mean shit.

I think he did rebuild to a 4th but was somewhat disappointed and made it a 6th order. At least that's what I got from his thread asking for a 6th order design and I'm not trying to put words in his mouth so hopefully he can chime in here

I've gotten a blowjob and picked up my iphone behind her back to see what email notification I got from smd before

Oh ok I didn't think that it was designed so much for spl. That completely makes sense then thank you

All I'm getting at is that he's done it. Whether built for it or not, he did it. Try asking him?

I'm talking daily not spl.

I'm sorry but when you say you heard this from world record holders I take it you mean spl and if so I would take ray and b's word over an spl king when speaking of daily tuned.
