It requires a larger box. 2. Restricts applications. 3. Has a high fs which can really mess up a frequency response if you tune below the fs. And 4 it seems like it puts more stress on the triple joint I get that it eventually will loosen up and a stiff suspension can increase power handling but I just think that the average user would much prefer a looser suspension. Simple the AQ HDC3 and 4s are built for the SPL competition ideally, and for SPL applications you want a stiff suspension. And point 3, is incorrect, fs doesn't affect tuning. I have spoken with many WORLD record holders that will tell you fs doesn't mean shit.
