Do I need to upgrade power?

So right now I have a single alpine type r 12 and a alpine pdx m6. The birthsheet says 672 watts rms. I have a 6guage wiring kit. This weekend I am picking up a sundown sa12 and a sae 1200d. Will I be ok running 6 guage for just the one sub because it is a dual 4 ohm sub. So it will be wired at 2 ohm and only putting 600 watts to the sa12. But I will for sure change to 4 guage eventually. And my plan is to get another sa12, dual 4 and wiring them in parallel to 1 ohm and run 1200 to both of them at 600 a piece. When I go to running both subs I will definitely have 4 guage wire. But will I need to run an extra battery to accept the power? If needed I would either get a kinetic audio battery and connect it to the front battery or get a yellow top optima. But if I won't need to do anything other than 4 guage I will just do that. O and by the way thus is in an 03 f150 king ranch if it makes a difference with alternator power and what not.

i wouldnt run the 6 gauge wire. but personally i wont run anything under 4 gauge period to my amps. 4 gauge i think would be a lot better for that amp an its pretty cheap so you might want to pick up some 4 gauge when you purchase the amp. an since you have a truck i imagine your alt is at least a 120 or bigger. so if you picked up a yellow top or went an ordered a xs battery you should be fine.

if you use 4 gague wire, do the big 3 on your truck with 0 gauge wire. an have a yellowtop or xs power battery you will be fine. you dont really need a HO alt or a few batts until you get into some 2000 watt an up amps an have a small stock alt.

just as he said plain NO just run 1/0 and you can break it back up to 4 guage

You can run about 100w RMS per 10a of alternator on most stock electrical systems in my experience. You should be fine.

I'm gonna hate
